Alphabet in the sand

The clip, this is my final movie with the letters I created in the sand. I have made this interactive on my DVD by having a home page with two buttons taking you to the movie you want. Finished!

DVD Cover

This is my DVD cover for my movie. I created letters a, b and c in Illustrator using the typeface Century Schoolbook, created outlines and increased the tracking. I then repeated the abc 4 times and changed the tints on them so they got lighter.

DVD Sticker

This is my sticker to go on the top of my CD. I have cropped letters a, b and c. This is going to be the same image that I will use on my DVD cover.
After spending a day at the beach creating my stop motion letters in the sand I have now imported them into iMOVIE and added the soundtrack I think was most suitable for the video. After going through hundreds of songs I found Vampire weekend by Walcott. I now need to make this movie interactive by opening it up in iDVD and adding 2 buttons to it because I am using both the alphabet in the sand clip and the flash alphabet clips.

Breaking the rules of typography front cover

Here is the front cover for my chapter on breaking the rules of typography, here I have used many different typefaces and spread them across the page in different positions.

Identity Typeface

This is my specimen board showing the typeface I created, this is called 'Identity'. I decided to take a more illustrative approach and draw the design on the template of standard Helvetica.

Identity poster

This is one of my type poster designs, my typeface is called 'Fingerprint' so I thought it would be useful on somewhere involved in crime. So I used an identity theft poster design.

Long Exposure Alphabet

This is my first attempt at a short movie. I have created the alphabet using the long exposure light effect on a digital camera. I have imported it into Imovie and added a Camera Flash effect to each letter as it appears and also the sound to match.
